Roughly every five days i have what appears to be another period. I have the implant which doesn't run out until next year. I have recently had an STI check and was clean. I am sexually active however bleeding doesn't start straight after intercourse. Bleeding isn't particularly heavy, and starts of as a brown colour and eventually turns red. No pain associated with it however i bloat a little. I am planning on inserting a new implanon in hopes to stop this. Was wondering if i am still covered?

Hi there ,if you are just 19 then Please get thorough pelvic check up done to rule out cervical infection, esp.pap smear and HPV testing ,and DO NOT use hormonal implants ,you need to protect yourself at this tender age by asking your partner for barrier contraception
