Iron infusion in pregnancy
I have Hb as 9.7 g/dL on 15 May and then 9.6g/dL on 6 june. Three weeks apart. Taking cheri for oral iron supplementation. I am currently in 28 weeks of pregnancy. Doctor has told for iron infusion. Is it necessary ? Will it cause pigmentation?

No iron infusion is not required at 9.7 Iron infusion does not cause pigmentation You first need to rule out thalassemia
