Iregular period issue
Hi Doc,
My wife period gap is reducing from last 2-3 month. In May period start after 22 days, in june is started after 19 days.
She is taking cabergoline once a week from last 3 yrs because of high prolactin.
So this reducing gap is normal or any problem?

Since the period gap has become less than 21 days it is better to get evaluated for other causes by a gynecologist through physical examination, blood tests and scanning. Cabergoline is unlikely to cause this.

Cabergoline doesn’t causes decrease cycle interval infact it corrects irregular cycles. Scan and some blood tests are needed to find out the cause for the decrease in cycle duration.
