IPill around the time of Ovulation
I am a 25 year old female, 66 kgs, married. My partner and myself wanted to know if iPill is effective if I take it during ovulation period.. my period started on 24th July and ended 27th July. Had intercourse on 8th Aug night but protection was broken. I've taken iPill on 9th Aug morning. I also had no periods in June but otherwise regular. Pls suggest..

I pill has its inherent failure. But it is as effective if taken during ovulation time, as it is, if taken at any other time. In other words you have done the correct thing by taking i pill.

Just wait, you will get bleeding in another 10 days due to the ipill. If not then if you miss your period, do a urine pregnancy test. Ipill is not a safe medicine to take. Switch over to routine and safer contraceptive choices.
