Interstitial Lung disease
My father is suffering with pulmonary fibrosis. He is taking fibrodone tablets(6 per day). But he gets heavy head ache, vomiting sensation everyday. He has lost appetite.he doesn't want to eat anything. He is taking oxygen 15 to 16 hrs everyday. When I searched online I found that these are the side effects of the tablets. Is it ok if he stops eating tablet for sometime and continue it once he feels better? Is there any other alternative for this tablet? What happens if he stops eating the tablet.?

You can reduce perfenidone tablets provided his fibrosis status. It's not mandatory to continue perfenidone if fibrosis already reached in severe stage.
