My son aged 1.7yr has intermittent fever since Wednesday only in the early morning(he was fine on Thursday) We had consulted with a pediatrician on Wednesday and Friday, he prescribed antibiotics and paracetamol syrup. It was said he has mild viral infection which takes 2-3 days. In this time, is it normal to get mild fever only in the early morning between 4-6am.

It's okk... He may get mild fever for 2-3days... But he should be fever free after 5 days of starting off fever.. If not so, consult your doc once more.

First of all please measure the body temp of ur child with a digital thermametre when u feel his body is hot, it will clear your and ur doctors doubt. Because body temp may rise during sleep. So it is better to note down the temp.
