U might be having the swelling coz of inflammation in that area . In such a scenario u need to get cleaning of ur gums done by a specialist. Also get the cause of such inflammation evaluated , it may be either improper cleaning , food lodgement or may be insufficient space for ur tooth to be accommodated due to which u maybe having a flap of gums covering ur tooth partially and leading to food lodgement.
