Having intercourse around ovulation period has better chances of fertilisation and pregnancy. In a 28 day cycle, Ovulation occurs around the 14th day and the Egg survives for about 24 hours. Similarly survival of sperms also is best during the first 24 hours after ejaculation. On a 35 day cycle we cannot fix a day of ovulation unless a follicular study to check the growth of follicles has been done earlier. We cannot generalise the ovulation day.

In a 28 days cycle ovulation occurs on day 14.but in 35 days cycle it might be happening around 20 th April .so hv contact from 20-27 th April but better to document ovulation by follicular study usg and then plan for better chance of conception
