Intense prickly and itchy Anus and vulva
I had visited gynaecologist about 10 days ago as I had experienced slight itching and discomfort in my vagina. I was prescribed with a vaginal capsule (anti fungal) for a day and then doxy ldr and metronidazole. After taking those medications specifically the oral tablets-I feel now my anus groin area and vagina are itching even more and seem to be tender. I had a previous vaginal yeast infection in Dec last year which subsided with the oral antifungal and vaginal capsule. However this month I felt slight itching post my periods and now after treatment it's worse. I even observed white clumpy discharge while I peed today. What could this be?

Treatment given is absolutely correct. Antifungal with antibiotics given are also the right ones to tackle vaginal infections. If recurrent vaginal or vulval candidiasis then you need prolonged oral anti fungal, suppressive therapy for few weeks with local application of cream or ointment. Anyway Better consult and discuss to your Gynec. He or she would be able to understand
