Insufficient Breast milk

Asked for Female, 35 Years

My baby is 6 weeks old, and she is born underweight (1.6 kg). her mother is 35 yrs old. The quantity of her breast milk is insufficient to satisfy the baby. Kindly advise which is the best formula milk to supplement the breast milk. The baby is healthy otherwise but gets irritated when hungry.

As baby is underweight so milk requirement is also less.milk secretion should b sufficient.avoid powder milk .

Don't give top feed Tell mother to drink milk 2 lit And water at least 1 lit per day Give tab.metacloperamide (10mg ) 1 tab BD for 3 days
