Injury of gums due to a fall
Hi my daughter 6 years old has fallen from the chair and her gums got damaged and for one teeth the gum is totally gone. Doctor suggested for Amoxicillin syrup and P 250 syrup for three days and he said that the totally damaged gum will not regrow back now but it will regrow with new teeth. I want to know whether it is correct or not.

Hi sir. I think you are little confused with milk teeth and gums. Due to fall the milk teeth would have broken. As your doctor said the new permanent teeth will regrow at the age between 6-7 years. So need not worry. If gum is injured it will heal within a week itself. If pain continues after 3 days get an x-ray done

Hi, She is young, her gums will take shape again once her permanent tooth erupts. There is not need to worry. Take the medications as prescribed.
