Injury due to fall
My son 1 yr 3 months fell down hit a wooden corner...got a slit just above the eye... Visited doctor and had first aid.. they insisted on surgery with full anesthesia...is it ok to wait till morning? Bleeding stopped...aspetic dressing done... Kid is sleeping now... Any pain killer need to be given if he wakes up with pain?

It's ok to wait but u need to be aware that the wound may get infected, plus if u decide to get it sutured, alignment of the edges maybe off. U can give paracetamol or ibuprofen for pain
