On 13 th i had my opertaion for gallblader temoval and mesh repair for indirect ingunial hernia how long i have to rest and what should be my diet

Assuming it is keyhole surgery 10 days to two werk period of care should be sufficient. Avoid exertion lifting weight take care of surgery site. There can be some gas or diarrhea. Take simple but high fiber diet whole grains fruits vegetables. Avoid outside food oily and flatulent food like cabbage cauliflower onion beans choley rajma. After 10 to 14 days you can start normal activity without heavy exertion or lifting weight.

Hi Take  rest  till complete  healing  of wound Generally  1 and half  month. Take  fat  free diet  for  gall bladder  surgery.
