Hi: i get periods every month without fail with 28 days. Its been one year we r trying for baby. But i haven't conceived. My doctor asked me do ultrasound on 10th , 12th & 14th day. Its found that there is follicle of length 23 mm in my left ovary on my 10th day scan And on my 12th day it has been increased to 25mm. I told the same to my doctor. She asked me to take hcg 5000iu i/m on 12thday. I took the injection. I just want to check if this is really required. Won't it release on 14th day by itself ? Why doctor suggested me to take the injection ?

If it has already increased to 25mm chances of it rupturing on its own are less.
Further u ll waste this cycle of yours .
So its upto u whether u dont want to tk injection or u want to take n see if it ruptures or not
