So me and my partner had protected sex on 13th May. My hymen broke. 2-3 drops of blood were visible. We next had protected sex on 16th May, but at that time, I could see some thickened blood. We stopped immediately. Afraid, I took 3mg dosage of contraceptives on 17th May. I Dont wanna be a pregnant. Are there any chances of me being pregnant? And my period's due date is 20th May, that is tomorrow. But will the contraceptive affect my menstrual cycle, provided, it is ALWAYS regular? When can I expect my period to occur? Shall I take a pregnancy test? Please help..

Hi there.. even if you have used protection(condom) yet there are chances you could become pregnant as failure rates are high with condom usage.. but since you used emergency pills nothing to worry as they offer better protection.. wait for your periods date ie 20th if you don get even after 40-45days then you can do urine pregnancy test once.. now if you do, there is no use as , for urine test to become positive it takes 6weeks ie 45days.. if your very worried then you can get beta hcg blood test after 2- 3weeks only.. it's more reliable even..
