Infection in ear and forehead

Asked for Male, 1 Years

My baby is suffering from baterial infection in ear and fore head. White pus is coming out from ear and red swelling with pus is there at fore head. I consulted paediatrician as well ent specialist. Paediatrician suggested cefixime oral suspension for fore head and ent spl suggested cefpodoxime oral suspension for ear. Now I'm confusing that both r antibiotic, can give both ??? Baby weight is 9 kg. Age 1 yr.
