Hello At this age, it is common for breastfed babies to: Pass stools less frequently (even once in 5–7 days can be normal) Strain while passing gas or stools due to immature digestion Experience infantile colic (excessive crying, gas, distension) Since baby is passing gas, feeding well, and ultrasound is normal, there’s no immediate concern.
Next Steps
Continue exclusive breastfeeding on demand. Burp well after feeds and try tummy time under supervision. Gentle abdominal massage and warm compresses can help. Avoid regular suppository use — can lead to dependence. If baby is vomiting forcefully, has greenish vomiting, not gaining weight, or abdomen is very tight, consult pediatrician urgently.
Health Tips
Frequent colic improves by 3–4 months. Avoid overuse of drops like colic acid unless prescribed.
