Bat (chamgadar) ke daant aur nails itne (tiny) hote hain ki unke kaatne ya khareedne ka turant pata nahi chalta, khas kar ke sir ke baalon wale hisse mein. Medical guidelines ke mutabik, bat se kisi bhi tarah ka direct contact hone par Anti-Rabies Vaccine (ARV) lagwana mandatory hai, bhale hi kaatne ka koi saaf nishan na dikhe. Jahan tak bacche ki heart aur lung disease (ya saans phoolne) ka sawaal hai, aap bilkul befikr rahiye. Modern rabies vaccines poori tarah se 'inactivated' (dead virus) hoti hain. Is vaccine ka bacche ke dil ya fefrho (lungs) par koi bura asar nahi padta. Rabies ek fatal disease hai, isliye darr kar vaccine skip karna bahut bada risk hoga."

Bina kisi deri ke bacche ko paas ke hospital ya doctor ke paas le jayein aur Rabies vaccine ki pehli dose (Day 0) lagwayein. Doctor wound ki condition dekh kar iske saath Rabies Immunoglobulin (RIG) ka decision bhi le sakte hain."
