Increase in WBC count and fever
My age is 53 years. I am suffering from fever (99 to 104 f) for last one week. Today in the blood report, i have noticed increase in WBC count and decrease in platelets and hemoglobin. Also gum swelling and gum bleeding.
WBC : 171770 cells/cmm
Haemoglobin: 9.1 gm/dl
RBC : 2.60 millions/cmm
Blasts: 60%
Please suggest what would be the reason for increased WBC count and also let me know whom to consult.
