Increase in ESR after 3 weeks of fever

Hlo sir, my sister was sufferingg from fever 3 weeks before and we consulted a docter and found thhat her esr was high..its been 3 days and the esr is no decreasing..and she is getting fever once in three days..sir, would you please tell me the reason for this problem..my sister is just 10years old..please help us sir
