Implantation bleeding or periods

Asked for Male, 25 Years

Last Intercourse date was on 1st Aug. Last date of period onset is 19th July. Next expected date was 17th-19th Aug. Experienced normal PMS's. But bleeding started on 29th Aug. So, it can be a late period. But the flow was lesser than usual. Filled up 3 pads almost. Usually she has shorter periods of 2-3 days and this time too, 2.5 days and the flow stopped. The color was red to light red; brown when dry. No other unusual signs. Found a small clot in the pad also. Is it possible that this is late period? Can implantation bleeding start after 28 days of last Intercourse? Please help. We both are stressing a lot.

Do an urine pregnancy test to be more sure....it may be normal periods only but to be more assured...
