Peri implantitis or infection in soft tissue around implant can occur due to poor oral hygiene or food lodgement. It won't cause oral cancer.
Only solution is to try to maintain good oral hygiene.
Regular use of mouthwash
Rigorously wash your oral cavity when ever you eat something.
Consult doctor online or offline and follow instructions properly.

Peri implantitis is just inflammation around the gums, has no possibility of causing cancer sir. And please maintain a good oral hygiene after the implant is placed as this can cause peri implantitis. Furthermore follow all the instructions given by the surgeon.
