IgE blood test accuracy
I recently had an IgE blood test for peanuts which came back negative. I had not eaten any peanut products for 3 weeks when I took the test. I am wondering if this could have affected the test results. I have heard that IgE antibodies have a short half life and I am concerned that the antibody dropped to an undetectable level by the time I got the test because.
