I-pill tablet and vagina tear
My boyfriend and I had sex last Saturday without using a condom. Two days later, on Monday, I took an i-Pill. It was my first time having sex, and I also have a vaginal tear. For the pain, I took naproxen (not at the same time as the i-Pill). Since Wednesday, I have been experiencing stomach pain, and my vagina hurts when I urinate. What should I do? I won't be able to see a gynecologist for another week. Could you please suggest any medicine for the stomach pain and vaginal pain for time being.

Since this was your first sexual intercourse and you have a known vaginal tear, pain during urination can occur because urine may irritate the injured tissue. Mild lower abdominal discomfort can also occur after intercourse or as a side effect following an i-Pill (emergency contraceptive), which may cause temporary symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, cramping, breast tenderness, or changes in the menstrual cycle. However, it is not possible to determine the exact cause of your symptoms without a proper examination. If the vaginal tear is significant, or if there is an associated infection or urinary tract irritation, additional evaluation may be needed.
Next Steps
it is advisable to avoid sexual intercourse and any activity that may further irritate the affected area. Maintain good personal hygiene, stay well hydrated, and observe whether the symptoms are improving, remaining stable, or worsening. If you notice increasing pain, significant bleeding, fever, unusual vaginal discharge, difficulty passing urine, dizziness, or any other concerning symptoms, seek medical attention without delay rather than waiting for the scheduled appointment. Health Tips
Ensure adequate rest and allow your body time to recover. Wearing loose, breathable clothing and maintaining gentle hygiene practices can help reduce irritation in the affected area. Staying calm and avoiding unnecessary anxiety is also important, as stress can sometimes amplify the perception of discomfort. Most minor vaginal tears associated with first-time intercourse tend to improve gradually with proper care and avoidance of further irritation. Continue to monitor your symptoms, prioritize self-care, and seek professional evaluation if there is any concern about worsening or persistent discomfort. Thank you
