It depends on what has caused the SGPT to be high. Do the following 1. Blood tests- Blood film, MonoSpot test(or EBV serology), Hepatitis A, B, C, CBP, ESR, Ceruloplasmin, Ferritin, ANA, Anti-mitochondrial antibodies and anti-LKS antibodies 2. Ultrasound abdomen. All the best. J G S R clinic

I can understand that the SGPT levels above normal are a bit concerning for you at present but it can also be just a warning sign showing fatty changes to your liver. As such you don’t require any medication for it in particular rather just improve your diet and lifestyle as your liver function is most probably in the easily reversible state. Kindly note that this is assuming you are not a regular drinker or have any other systemic symtoms
Next Steps
Take an Ultrasound Abdomen to assess liver parenchymal changes and Blood Fasting Lipid profile for the triglyceride levels. Consult further with reports. Healthy diet with less carbohydrates and more proteins, fibre and healthy fats and avoiding alcohol if consuming.
Health Tips
All this is if you dont have any symptoms to speak of. If you have associated nausea, vomiting, fever, abnormal stool movements or yellowing of skin make sure to consult a doctor immediately
