Neha, aapne jo apni feelings share ki hain, wo kafi himmat wala kaam hai. Aap jo mehsoos kar rahi hain—ghabrahat (nervousness), akele rehne ka mann karna, aur school jane se darr—ye ek clinical condition ho sakti hai jise Social Anxiety Disorder (SAD) ya 'Avoidant' behavior kehte hain. Ye koi 'shyness' ya aalas (laziness) nahi hai, balki ek emotional phase hai jisme dimaag social situations ko ek khatre (danger) ki tarah dekhta hai. Sahi support se aap bilkul theek ho sakti hain aur dubara school enjoy kar sakti hain."

Jo aap describe kar rahi ho wo mainly anxiety + social anxiety type pattern lag raha hai, jisme school ya logon ke beech jana gradually uncomfortable ho jata hai, aur phir avoid karna start ho jata hai. Ye kaafi common hai aur treatable hai. Aapke case me ek cheez clear hai ki aap me ability hai school jane ki, kyunki aap wapas gayi bhi thi, bas anxiety aur comfort zone ki wajah se phir se ruk gayi. Ye habit ban jati hai — jitna avoid karte ho, utna difficult lagne lagta hai. Abhi sabse important hai slowly wapas routine me aana, ekdum se full school start karne ki jagah chhote steps lo. Jaise pehle hafte me 1–2 ghante ke liye school jao, phir gradually time badhao. Kisi ek friend ya teacher se connect rehna help karega. Daily thoda physical activity ya walk zaroor add karo, phone usage kam karo, aur sleep routine fix rakho. Jab anxiety aaye to slow breathing try karo — 4 second inhale, 4 hold, 6–8 second exhale, ye body ko calm karta hai. Aapke case me counselling (psychologist) kaafi helpful rahegi, specially CBT type therapy, jisme gradually fear aur avoidance ko handle karna sikhaya jata hai. Medicines usually first step nahi hote, lekin agar symptoms zyada severe ho to psychiatrist guide kar sakte hain. Shyness aur anxiety dono improve ho sakte hain, bas thoda time aur consistent effort lagega. Aap bilkul normal life wapas la sakti ho, bas avoid karna band karke step by step exposure start karna hoga.

Hi Neha, thank you for sharing this so honestly. I can imagine how confusing and tiring this must feel for you. From what you’ve described, it seems that over time your mind has started associating school, orals, and being around others with anxiety, and because of that staying at home has begun to feel safer, even though a part of you still wants to study and do things. This kind of pattern is quite commonly seen in teenagers as anxiety-related school avoidance with shyness or social anxiety, and it does not mean there is anything wrong with you. In fact, the more we avoid something that feels scary, the bigger that fear becomes, which is why going back now feels difficult. The good news is that this is very treatable with the right support. Step-by-step confidence building, therapy, and sometimes medication can help you gradually get back to school and routine. Please talk to your parents about this and consider a proper consultation, as early support can make a big difference. I also work with adolescents and provide online guidance if you would like help, you don’t have to manage this alone. I provide online consultation and therapy support you can contact me directly on seven eight seven seven six three nine six eight two for detailed evaluation and management.
