Hi. Coffee doesn’t cause mouth ulcer. But taking too hot liquids will be harmful to oral mucosa. Of ulcer is persistent then better to consult oncologist and undergo biopsy.

It is premalignant lesion.
Any change in size, colour can suggest cancer so keep a watch.
Any history of tobacco consumption then quit immediately
