I don't know what type of HPV I have
I'm 19 years old and 6 months ago went to the doctor and she said I had genital warts. I went to the sexual health clinic and got treatment and it has not worked . The warts are multiplying. I am so ashamed. I have symptoms of cervical cancer yet been refused a pap. can someone with genital warts have the high risk HPV rather than low?

Genital warts are usually caused by low risk HPV types, but you should get your Pap smear done as you can have infection with high risk types as well. The age to start a Pap smear screening is 21 years.
