I can't feel anything during sex

Hi, me and my boyfriend are sexually active and just recently I haven't been able to feel anything during sex. And not the "I can't orgasm" kind of not feeling anything. I mean, I can't PHYSICALLY feel anything inside of my vagina during penetration (not even when I masturbate). It's just kind of numb. Is something medically wrong with me and should I be going to the doctor, or will it pass and just be a phase?
