It's a replacement treatment for your hypothyroidism . Generally very well tolerated.After initiating the treatment ,it takes about 6-8 weeks to see the progress and when the TSH level is tested ,the dose is adjusted accordingly.

Its a hormone ,trying to replace a deficiency you have. Normally well tolerated. Sometimes dose needs to be adjusted if you experience symptoms which are not really specific.
