My wife have hypothyroidism.she is gaining too much weight suddenly.now she is 67 kg.currently she is taking 75 mcg thyronome.and her thyroid results are nomal.shall we needvto increase thyroid medicine to 100 mcg . We had checked the thyroid level in August 1st.

If the TSH levels are normal dose of Thyroxin should not be increased. You should try diet and exercise for weight loss.
