Hypoglycemia in newborn
Hi I delivered a baby at 38weeks weighed 3kgs. I didn't take any medication for diabetes during pregnancy since I was not knowing am diabetic. But I was taking labetol and ecospirin for BP. Since I delivered through c-section i couldn't feed baby so given formula milk to baby but he was not taken the feedings and was spitting up. After 6hours of birth doctor checked the glucose levels of the baby and it was 50  not less than 45 but doctor gave IV line dextrose for 24hrs along with formula feeding. Then I started breastfeeding he is very normal, as of now he is 1.5months old and he is 5kgs. He is attaining his milestone too. But he is having umbilical hernia doctor said it will go once muscle build. My question is should I take any concern on the sugar levels of my baby?? Does it harm my baby's growth?? Is he normal like other babies?? Please clarify my confusions
