Did you have a seizure, or you lost consciousness when you had the head injury.dilantin is for seizures. The present scan is showing the past trauma in brain , which will appear in your scans later also. You just need to see if its the same area where the hypodensity is reported in current scan collaberates with old scan as well
Next Steps
consultant a neurologist regarding dilantin and seizures
Health Tips
take good sleep and dilantin till your neurologist asks you to take it. do not stop dilantin on your own
