Hypo Thyroid
My wife suffering from hypothyroidism. 6 months ago TSH level was 8.15 (normal range was 4.96 in the test). Doctor advised to take thyrox 100 dose and to increase the dose from 25 to 100 in two weeks. But after reaching 75 dose heart beat became faster and felt too weak..For that reason we decided to take thyrox50 dose to continue.. But the problem now is that periods are irregular and burning sensation in vagiana which was started earlier is harassing. Weight also gaining though food intake is too little.Another problem now started that all time vomiting tendency after meal. Irritation in vagina felt after urination. Pls suggest something..

Her TSH at the baseline was in the range if subclinical hypothyroidism. Her complaints may not necessarily be due to thyroid disorder. If she has any other symptoms like facial hairs, hair loss or excessive acne, PCOS should be ruled out. Also better to consult a gynecologist for examination to look for cause of vulvovaginitis. For vomiting temporarily she can be given Omez D before meals
