My mother's bp has been shooting very frequently.. Whenever she stands up.. Her bp shoots up to 176/103.. And recently it rose to 223.. She started taking ramipril from today.. But again it shooted today.. Three medicines have been changed.. Earlier she took a thiazide with diuretic combo.. On taking that her bp became low..

She has a very high blood pressure. She may need more than one blood pressure medications if ramipril doesn’t control it. However the blood pressure is very high and needs to be addressed immediately. Do get touch with a cardiologist. In case you need further help, do book an online consult.
