Hypertension
I have been diagnosed with hypertension 140/96. I was in Amlong 5mg for more than a year. But as we are planning pregnancy in the coming months doctor changed Amlong to Nicardia 20mg once daily. After taking Nicardia within an hour my resting heart rate rises to 100-120(no activities). Usually my resting rate morning, noon and night is in the range 50-55,70-80,50-55 respectively. I informed doctor he changed the medicine to labetatlol 100mg twice daily. My question is will labetatlol reduces my usual HR to 40 and below as I heard it reduces HR? Is it safe to use?
