Asked for Female, 19 Years

I am 19yrs old female having hypertension reading 130/100 which initially was 150/110 .It has reduced as i take medicine stamalo 5 mg and ciplar 10mg.I have high triglyceride 177 and low hdl and also have pcod.I used to take pco care and ovuloc as treatment for pcod but i stopped the medication as my dr said it may be a cause if high bp.I want to know that what can be the cause of high bp .Is it because of cholestrol due to high glycerides or is it because of the pcod medication or what else could be the cause for my bp in this age .Also if i go on water slides or any rides,is there any risk involved?

In case you have been on the anti hypertensives for more than 2 weeks and the blood pressure is not controlled, then the dise may need to be revised. As for the cause of hypertension, if you are off the drugs mentioned and are still having high bp, then it is unlikely to be the cause.
