I have had 2 episodes of blood clotting once in the Brain and second time in the heart. Wanted to get to the root cause of the issue. Why does my homocystein levels rise in spite of taking proper medications.

There's a condition called hyperhomocysteinemia..which is genetically determined... Body synthesises excessive homocysteine due to lack of an enzyme.. It cannot be cured..it can only be symptomatically treated or treated to prevent complications
