Hydrocephalus in baby

Dear Sir, My baby boy have 7 month, disease Hydrocephalus. I treat in semi government hospital. Last 5 Days. But no treatment at regular basis, doctor said in CFS fluid have infection. So after infection removed. Then process of shunt will start. Plz advice me.. is it correct for waiting infection stop or reduce. Then surgery will start. My baby is in very serious mode. Not response by eye, or listen my voice. Not response ny type of smile. Only see ny object regularly. Infection stop Waiting is good for him or fast Sergery is good.

In case of infection, shunt surgery is not done. If the condition of patient becomes critical and there is significant dilatation of ventricle , we go for an EVD ( external ventricular drain) to reduce pressure in brain. Then once the infection is cured, shunt is done.
