Humerous bone fracture...

Asked for Female, 34 Years

My humerous bone of right hand is broken horizontally 3 months ago and gap is formed. Doctor done the operation and fitted it with plate. Now after 3 months the bone is not healed perfectly. So my question is how many time it takes to be healed?

Bone healing is a complex process. Speed and success differ among individuals. The time required for bone healing can be affected by many factors, including the type of fracture and the patient's age, underlying medical conditions, and nutritional status. Bone generally takes 6 to 8 weeks to heal to a significant degree. In your condition it can take 3-4 months also, if your feeling better compared to last week then its healing , if you tenderness at site , and severe pain get x Ray and consult orthopedic doctor
