If she is hsv IGM positive she needs treatment
Once she is cured you can have intercourse and she can be pregnant
Any sexually transmitted disease has a tendency to block your tubes and effect your pregnancy prospects
You need a test called HSg to find out

Get hsv titres done. In case of active infection you can't have intercourse but once the lesion are cured and antibodies igG develop you can have intercourse
