HSG test after follicular scans
Hi, I am planning for baby from past 8 months and visited doctor and had follicular scans after taking  letrozole tablets, once after follicle rupture i took Duphaston tables. This went on for 2 months but no results. Now my doctor has suggested me for HSG test which I'm worried because of infection and pain after HSG test. Is this HSG test and the dye which is used for this test safe for us?? Thanks in Advance.

All that I can say is that it is not a novelty. HSG are being done since more than 50 years and with no unusual side effects.

Yes it's totally safe. Better to go for HSG test. No point in doing ovulation induction/ follicular monitoring if your tubes are blocked. HSG is must to know whether the tubes are open or not

Please go ahead with your doctor's advice. It is completely safe. And patency of tubes has to be known before trying for conception naturally.

It is completely safe and u should go for that Coz it will let u know whether ur tubes are open or not. Coz in case of open tube only u will try for normal conception.
