How to Infuse alburel 20% 100ml.
My grandfather is bedridden since last 1-2 years and since last few days his hands and legs and feet are swelling rapidly. Due to fear of covid , we are treating him at home and consulting doctors through online consultation.
We had done his blood tests and His albumin level is 2.3 and potassium level is 3 and sodium is 131 and haemoglobin is 10.5.
So, Doctor has advised him to give Alburel 20% 100 ml for 2 days.
One doctor asked to give Alburel 100 ml in 30-40 mins.
And another doctor advised to give Alburel 100 ml over 4 hrs.
Please let me know what is the correct way to give Alburel 20% 100 ml to the patient.

Usually they will give Alburel within 30-40mins. But since the patient is of old age and sudden increased volume in his body may cause increased load to heart. So giving over 4hrs is correct. And giving for 2 days is also not wrong as that doctor might have kept his age in mind and would have said so
