She has also been prescribed multivitamins A to Z 0.5 ml daily and another tonic with the name calcikind - p suspension 1 ml twice a day.
Thanks in advance

Hello.
For babies born preterm the recommended dose of VitD3 is 800IU per oral OD (once daily).
The dose 400IU is for babies born at term gestation. What was the exact gestation and weight of the baby at birth?
Also would like to Advice you to confirm with practitioner who prescribed at subsequent follow-up's of the baby.
Next Steps
Patient can continue 1 ml of 800IU of Vit D3 and once baby goes for follow-up they can decide if it needs to be reduced to 400IU.
Health Tips
Two kind of formulations are available , one which contains Vit D3 as 400IU in 1 ml and one with 800IU per ml, patients are advised to always read labels and dose mentioned in prescription.
