My name is nirmala.. Am 5 weeks pregnant. My lmp is 14.9.2023. Can i start drinking mothers plus Horlicks atleast thrice a week.. Is it good for my health? Because my weight is only 44.8kg..does it cause any side effects for me and baby.. Then I attached my scan report for your valuable consideration... Please reply 👨⚕doctor.

Your are not underweight as your BMI falls in the normal range though it's on the lower side
Yes you can take mother's horlicks but I would suggest to avoid it because
1. It's not needed in first 3 months
2. It can agrevate nausea vomiting of pregnancy as it contains high amount of proteins and milk solids

you should start tab folic acid 5mg daily
get vaginal USG (TVS) done after 2weeks to
1. confirm viability of the pregnancy
2. location of ther pregnancy
