Holi colours during pregnancy
Hi, I am 30 weeks pregnant, today during holi, some people applied gulal( abir) on my face. I thought it was harmless. Later I got to know that they may contain harmful chemicals as they were definitely not herbal colors. They were on my face for 1-2 hours before I washed it off. Will it be absorbed through my body and cause birth defects??? It was a small amount and only on face.

It will not get absorbed into the blood stream and since you are already in 30 weeks all the systems in the body is well developed. So the birth defects are unlikely
