I delivered boy baby 2 montns before and i lost him after 6 days. I dont know why it was not diagonised during my pregnancy.B Can you please let me know what are the causes for HLHS How it can be prevented

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. HLHS (hypoplastic left heart syndrome) is a condition wherein left side of heart is underdeveloped or not developed. So baby cannot survive due to lack of oxygenated blood. Cause is not known for sure. But you have to be careful during second pregnancy. Get your anomaly scan done for pregnancy next time and fetal echo
