HIV Transmission from object
I went to hospital for doctor consultation. A guy kept his bike helmet on the chair. Once he took the helmet and went, Unknowingly I sat the chair for few minutes. That guy is came to take HIV test. I don't know his result came as postive or negative. After I sat in chair then only I came to know he came to take HIV test. My question is in case if he is HIV positive, Any risk of HIV transmit from that chair to me? I don't see any blood or strain in that chair. And I wore Jean pants. 20 minutes after this incident I walked in the rain. My pant became fully wet.Any risk if some HIV blood strains in that pant and due to water it will became active?
