HIV is now a chronic disease like diabetes or high blood pressure. Only rarely, does it behave aggressively anymore. However, this is based upon regular follow up and medication. Please register at an ART clinic near your residence.

Hello there...I can understand your concern. Very sorry to hear about your report. Unfortunately there is no permanent cure for hiv. Firstly you need to get confirmatory tests done to confirm the disease. Cd4 count and plasma viral load counts will also have to be done. Then based on your symptoms, cd4 count and viral load, you will be started on antiretroviral therapy. Nowadays there are many ways including medications, physiotherapy, councelling through which your health can be improved and the disease can be kept under control. Kindly consult the ICTC center at any hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
