Hitus hernia
Dear doctor I have diagnosed with hiatus hernia 1 year back by the symptoms of upper abdomen pain. Presently I am not taking any medicine. But some time there is a pain in upper abdomen and go back by own after sometime. Not regularly. No any other problem. No burning sensation fell in throt and food pipe. Just sometime pain in upper abdomen . What should I do.

Avoid spicy and oily foods Drink lots of water Avoid alcoholic beverages Take tablet Pan 40 mg daily before breakfast for next two weeks

It’s better if you can avoid any fried and spicy food. Include more fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. If symptoms are persisting, consult a gastroenterologist.
